What's in a name?

In the car this morning for some reason the phrase "academic intelligence" popped into my mind, and I stuck the word "officer" on the end of it and wondered if I'd coined a new term for librarian! Still sounds good to me - "I'm an academic intelligence officer", but then I realized academic intelligence was often listed as the opposite of emotional intelligence, so the phrase seems to have been taken already. C'est la vie.

Too much information - smh.com.au

It's information literacy day for Paul - a great article describing information literacy and how it's misunderstood or misinterpreted. The article mentions a study called "Fast surfers, Broad scanners and Deep divers – personality and information-seeking behaviour." - seems to actually be a dissertation. And also mentioned a meeting in Prague in September, called the International Conference of Information Literacy Experts.
